Sheikh Zayed Road is the longest and oldest road in UAE, running parallel to the coastline from Trade Centre roundabout to the border of Abu Dhabi. This road is the main artery of the city, being home to many of Dubai’s skyscrapers, most exclusively the Emirates Towers and a pivotal point to reach other developments such as the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and JBR.

Sheikh Zayed Road used to be named Defense Road, before it was renamed to its present name, Sheikh Zayed Road, and includes most of the red line metro stations offering convenient transportation to many areas and attractions in Dubai.
